A party of 40 children and their families being supported by the Charity EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices) were treated to an evening at the Pantomime at the Norwich Theatre Royal where they enjoyed a tea party and the opportunity to meet the cast of Jack & The Beanstalk before watching the show as our special guests.
The event is an annual date in our diary and helps in a small way to give some enjoyment to some children and their families who are being brilliantly helped by the Charity. The Quidenham Hospice has become too dated to help the children effectively and a new Hospice is being developed at Framingham Earl to cater for the expanding number of children needing help in the region under their Nook Appeal.
Of the many events we organise this is by far the most rewarding, enabling us to offer some temporary respite to some families who are less fortunate than ourselves and we are grateful to the Theatre and staff for their support. Also thanks to the Leeds Building Society and HRGO from Norwich for donating goody bags and gifting the children some teddy bears to take home to complete their evening.
