At Rogers and Norton we offer a bespoke, end to end divorce service. We also offer the choice of three different levels of service to suit your needs and budget.
The specialist divorce solicitors at Rogers & Norton recognise that separating can be a daunting prospect for those in an unhappy marriage. They may prefer instead to put up with what they perceive to be more manageable relationship difficulties. Our solicitors cannot advise you on the future of your relationship, but we are able to provide reliable and valuable legal advice for your separation, divorce or dissolution.
We have a specialist matrimonial team based in Norwich and Attleborough. The team are dedicated to supporting you before, during and after a divorce. We endeavour to ensure that all of our clients receive clear, tailored advice which enables you to consider all of your options and ultimately help plan for your future
In order to obtain a divorce you must show that the marriage has broken down irretrievably. This entails proving one of five facts; adultery; unreasonable behaviour; two years separation with consent; two years desertion or five years separation without consent.
Once issued at Court, providing there are no difficulties and the divorce is uncontested, it should be concluded within approximately four to six months.
Upon conclusion, this does not end the financial claims you or your spouse may have against each other. It is important that you seek advice in relation to the financial consequences of separation.
