Phil Kerridge is highly regarded for his employment law practice and his personable but straightforward approach to an area of law that is constantly changing and has successfully developed this area of work over the last few years.
We provide a dedicated, specialist and dynamic employment law service predominantly focused on supporting businesses. Our team tailor the support and advice they offer on the specific needs and requirements of the individual client. Over the years we have developed strong, trusting, personal relationships with the businesses we work with and fully appreciate the commercial reality of what they do.
At Rogers & Norton we understand that employment law can be a headache for a business, which is why we aim to help in any way we can. We want to help you understand the law and to keep you aware of the continuing changes to it, minimising the risk and disruption to your business.
Phil provides a full range of employment support for businesses, both in contentious and non-contentious areas
Phil has successfully represented a wide variety of local employers in Employment Tribunals throughout the eastern region. He is also experienced in dealing with injunctive proceedings for breach of restrictive covenants.
He is skilled in advising on how to manage and resolve employment problems both independently, and through our assistance with any mediation or alternative dispute resolution procedures. The focus is on achieving a positive outcome through confidential settlements, in many cases preventing an Employment Tribunal.
Phil can assist with the drafting of employment contracts, restrictive covenants, staff handbooks and policies and provide advice regarding the procedures to be followed when dealing with grievance and disciplinary matters or redundancies.
In addition, he also provides comprehensive support to the Company/Commercial team by providing advice on Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 – TUPE and reviewing and compiling director’s service contracts.
This means that we are able to give sound commercial advice on all aspects of employment law to our business clients.
We can also provide fixed fee interviews for employees who have concerns or queries about their employment.
