As part of this initiative, we’re offering 20% discount on our LPA fees and continuing our commitment to the community by donating £50 from every LPA appointment to the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity, one of our chosen charities.

Types of Lasting Power of Attorney
There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney, each serving a different purpose:
- Property and Financial Affairs LPA: This allows your appointed attorney to assist with financial decisions, such as managing banking, buying or selling property and overseeing investments. The key benefit of this type of LPA is that it can be used while you still have mental capacity. Once registered, your attorney can step in to help with financial matters as needed.
- Health and Welfare LPA: This document allows your attorney to make decisions about your health and care, including the type of treatment you receive, where you live and whether life-sustaining treatment should be provided. Unlike the Property and Financial Affairs LPA, this can only be used if you lose mental capacity in the future, ensuring that your wishes are respected when you are no longer able to make decisions for yourself.

- Health and Welfare AND Property and Financial Affairs: £560 + VAT
Couple:
- Health and Welfare OR Property and Financial Affairs: £560 + VAT
- Health and Welfare AND Property and Financial Affairs: £800 + VAT
The Office of the Public Guardian charges a registration fee of £82 per document unless you qualify for an exemption.

Funds raised through this initiative will support the exceptional work of Priscilla Bacon Hospice at their new Priscilla Bacon Lodge, a state-of-the-art facility near the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. The hospice provides compassionate care and innovative services like bereavement support and music therapy.
