Man v Lakes Part 2
18th Jul 2017
Practice Manager Aidan Tidnam survived his Man Verses Lakes challenge on Saturday 15th July, completing the course in a time of just over 7 hours. He has raised over £560.00 for East Anglian Children’s Hospice in the process, with more donations still to come in.
Aidan commented “it was an amazing and gruelling experience, shared with some equally amazing people. It was a challenge right from the start, with a strength sapping five mile run over the quicksand of Morecambe Bay and then you have to go on and navigate the fells, hills & lakes over the next 23 miles – making a total of 28 miles of brutal but beautiful scenery. I certainly felt the affects the following day, but it was worth the effort for the experience and camaraderie on the day, together with the chance to raise money for a good cause.”
Aidan has already entered the Suffolk Coastal Marathon next year, which he reckons should still be hard work but substantially flatter!
