Rogers & Norton Solicitors proud to sponsor ‘Night Walk and Silent Disco’ on World Mental Health Day

Rogers & Norton Solicitors are proud to sponsor Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s ‘Night Walk and Silent Disco’, an event taking place this October to mark World Mental Health Day. The event invites participants to walk 5 kilometres around central Norwich, past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, before concluding with a vibrant silent disco at the Forum.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind is a local charity supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing through their network of community wellbeing hubs, talking therapies, short stay recovery houses, social groups, specialist programmes and mental health training.  At Rogers & Norton we strive to maintain a positive, nurturing working environment, so supporting Norfolk & Waveney Mind reflects our commitment to looking after our employee’s mental wellbeing.

Sponsoring this event is part of our three-year commitment to supporting Norfolk and Waveney Mind, along with two other local charities: Little Lifts and Priscilla Bacon Hospice. Over this period, which runs until May 2026, we have supported Norfolk and Waveney Mind in a variety of ways. These include organising the ‘Great Eastern Pingo Trail’ fundraising event back in 2023, hosting dress-down days in the office, inviting the charity to exhibit at our annual summer corporate event, welcoming them as guest speakers at our ‘Mid-Norfolk Connections’ networking breakfasts in Attleborough, participating in their ‘Do Blue’ campaign and participating in their fundraising fire-walk last year.

Our support has also included staff-led coffee mornings during Mental Health Awareness Week. Last year, the week’s theme focused on Community, highlighting the importance of reaching out to friends, supporting colleagues and engaging in local initiatives to protect mental wellbeing. To reflect this theme and show our support, we hosted coffee and cake mornings across our offices, creating informal opportunities for our teams to pause, talk openly, listen and connect over cake in a meaningful and accessible way.

At Rogers and Norton, we are deeply committed to promoting wellbeing in the workplace and beyond. Mental health is a priority for us, not only through our charitable partnerships, but through internal initiatives that encourage and foster a supportive working environment.

We encourage the Norwich business community to join the Night Walk on 10th October 2025. Support World Mental Health Day by grabbing your glow sticks and taking on a 5km walk through Norwich city centre, followed by a Silent Disco!
