Ride London
In completing the 100 mile course I managed to raise over £1200 for my chosen charity ‘Make Some Noise’ who help fund small projects supporting disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Having prepared for the ride thinking that I would have to contend with temperatures in the 30’s, the change to windy and rainy conditions was a bit of a surprise to me.
It was always going to be a real challenge to complete the 100 mile course as it involved some pretty steep climbs, but the spirit and camaraderie I experienced with other participants as we strove to complete the course was fantastic.
I was delighted to raise more money than I expected for such a deserving cause and am already planning my participation in next year’s ride.
