Rogers & Norton Law Academy 2021- 2022

7th Oct 2021

Last night we hosted the first session of the 2021-2022 Law Academy at our Norwich office.

The session was hosted by Mark Hambling, Director and Amber Tansley, Personal Injury Executive and focused on Personal Injury law. The students got to review a fictional case and participate in activities such as drafting notes, reviewing witness statements and responses, discussing possible outcomes and adhering to the law to get the best results for our clients, whether that be an individual or a business. This practical approach is designed to give the students an insight to the day to day work a fee earning member of staff would carry out on behalf of their client.

The students are all currently in year 12 or 13 at local schools and have a specific interest in law. There will be a further six session from now until April hosted by different teams, where the students will gain knowledge and experience from various practice areas and have the chance to talk through any questions including the routes they can take to become a qualified legal practitioner.

We are delighted to be hosting the Academy again after the pandemic put a stop to last year’s plans. We look forward to welcoming the students again for the next session in November on Family law.
