Rogers & Norton Solicitors Appoints Lauren Nelson-Smith as Trainee Solicitor

Lauren graduated from University of Hull in July 2022 with a first class law with politics degree, and she is currently undertaking the LPC LLM with the University of Law.

Lauren’s first seat is within our established Personal Injury Team, which handles all types of Personal Injury cases, ranging from modest accidents to cases of the upmost severity.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Lauren said: ‘‘I am delighted to start my training contract at Rogers & Norton within the Personal Injury Department. Having built up my knowledge of this area whilst supporting the team as a legal assistant, I was thrilled to be given this opportunity and I look forward to getting stuck in with the variety of cases that we deal with.’’

Director and Head of the firm’s Personal Injury Team, Mark Hambling, commented: ‘‘Lauren thoroughly deserves this opportunity to take the next step in progressing her career in the law. Over the course of Lauren’s training contract, she will undertake a number of seats within other departments covering different practice areas. Lauren will also actively engage in business development initiatives, such as networking, participating in events and supporting the firm’s corporate social responsibility strategy.
