Rogers & Norton Announces New Three-Year Charity Partnership

At Rogers & Norton, we are delighted to announce our new three-year charity partnership, supporting three outstanding Norfolk charities: Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS), Break and Norfolk Community Foundation.

Each of our new charity partners plays a vital role within the local community. NARS provides emergency medical care across Norfolk, delivering life-saving support at the scene of serious accidents and medical emergencies. Break works to make life better for children and young people in and around care, helping them build brighter futures through support, opportunities and lasting relationships. Norfolk Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter, distributing funding and support to grassroots charities and community groups across the county to help tackle local challenges and strengthen communities. We have also chosen to align our support with Norfolk Community Foundation’s ‘Love Norfolk’ mission, which focuses on tackling loneliness, building stronger community connections and helping communities to thrive through vital funding for local charities, community groups and grassroots initiatives. Through this partnership, we hope to support initiatives that bring people together and make a lasting difference across Norfolk.

The new partnership marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in our commitment to supporting the communities in which we live and work. Over the next three years, we look forward to working closely with each charity to explore meaningful ways in which we can make a positive difference through fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship and awareness raising activities.

The announcement follows the successful conclusion of our first three-year charity partnership, during which we proudly supported Little Lifts, Norfolk and Waveney Mind and Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity.

Over the past three years, colleagues across Rogers & Norton have embraced countless opportunities to support our charity partners. From sponsoring the Little Lifts Trail Run for three consecutive years and supporting Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s Night Walk on World Mental Health Day, to fundraising for and raising awareness of Priscilla Bacon Hospice through our annual Lasting Power of Attorney campaign and participating in the charity’s Memory Walk, the partnerships have enabled us to support a wide range of important causes across Norfolk.

What began as formal charity partnerships quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Through fundraising events, volunteering opportunities and shared experiences, many of our colleagues formed genuine friendships and lasting relationships with the charities, their teams and the communities they support.

Louis Hilldrup-Boorman, Marketing Manager at Rogers & Norton, said: “Looking back over the past three years, we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved alongside Little Lifts, Norfolk and Waveney Mind and Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity. These partnerships have been about so much more than fundraising. They have given our colleagues the opportunity to connect with inspiring people, support causes that make a real difference and become part of communities that share our values.

We have witnessed first-hand the impact each charity has on the lives of people across Norfolk, whether supporting those affected by breast cancer, improving mental health and wellbeing, or providing compassionate end-of-life care and support for families.

On behalf of everyone at Rogers & Norton, I would like to thank all three charities for allowing us to play a small part in their journeys. We have built relationships that we will continue to value long after our official partnerships have come to an end.”

As we begin our new partnership, we are excited to work with NARS, Break and Norfolk Community Foundation to understand where we can make the greatest impact and how we can best support their important work over the coming years.

Our new charity partners will be formally introduced to clients, contacts and colleagues at our Corporate Summer Event on Wednesday 15th July, where we look forward to celebrating the start of these new relationships and sharing more about the vital work each charity carries out across Norfolk.

We would like to thank all six charities for their collaboration, support and dedication, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to making a positive difference in our local communities.
