More success for Rogers & Norton Family Team
Almost 2 years after the final order had been made it was discovered the spouse had secretly hidden a large sum of cash, which could not be accounted for and had clearly been accumulated over the course of the marriage. This money had not been disclosed in financial proceedings before the Court. In the absence of any agreement to share that capital, an application was made to the Court, which succeeded and an order made that it be shared equally with the other spouse.
I think this was a great achievement for the team and a reminder that dishonesty definitely does not pay.
