Alistair is a Director and Head of the Commercial Department. He studied at Durham University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. Alistair joined Rogers & Norton Solicitors in 2021 and specialises in all aspects of corporate and commercial matters.
Background, Qualifications and Areas of Practice and Expertise
I am a highly experienced Commercial Solicitor with over 20 years of experience in my field. I have also spent eight years of my career working in-house, where I gained valuable experience in commercial, client and colleague-facing situations.
I enjoy a broad and varied practice and am passionate about providing clients with pragmatic, commercially focused and cost-effective advice across a range of legal issues. I am passionate about trying to provide great client service and genuinely enjoy trying to help my business clients with any legal issues that might arise for them. I also love being part of a team and believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of collaborative working.
Interests
Away from the office, my two great passions are my children (Freddie, 8 and Penelope, 6) and sport. I used to play some half-decent cricket, but now I am more likely to be found watching my children outdo me and each other somewhere outdoors than actually being on the sports field myself!
