Team Member: Deborah Slow

 

Department: Private Client.

Deborah is a Solicitor in the Private Client department, having joined us in April 2026. She is supervised by Director and Head of Department, Laura Rumsey.

 

Background, Qualifications and Areas of Practice and Expertise

I am a Solicitor in the Private Client team and joined the firm in April 2026 and am based at both our Norwich and Dereham offices, assisting clients across Norfolk. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2020, having obtained a first-class degree in Law from the Open University and a distinction in my Legal Practice Course at BPP University, Cambridge, and have worked in law firms in Norfolk and Suffolk.

I deal with all areas of private client work - complex wills, probate, administering estates, Powers of Attorney, trusts and Court of Protection. I specialise in providing clear and compassionate advice that is tailored to each individual's needs.

I am an Associate member of STEP and have completed the Advance Certificate in Administration of Estates and the Advanced Certificate in Administration of Trusts. I am continuing my studies to complete the diploma in Trusts and Estates to become a full member of STEP.

 

Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my Ragdoll cat Loki, and walking my Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Monty.
