Background, Qualifications and Areas of Practise and Expertise
Janet qualified as a Solicitor in 2004, having previously had a career in nursing. She studied Law at the University of Hull, graduating in 1998 and undertook a training contract with a high street firm in Lincolnshire. Janet then went on to work as a solicitor at firms in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Norfolk, working on a wide range of litigation matters, including probate, personal injury, and medical negligence claims. In 2001 Janet became a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists.
Janet advises on a wide range of litigation matters including boundary disputes, adverse possession, and trespass; she also advises on contract disputes, landlord and tenant claims, and contentious trust and probate matters. Janet represents clients in the property tribunals and county court, and also works alongside Counsel on matters in the High Court.
