Maria is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, having qualified in 2001. Maria has been working at Rogers & Norton Solicitors for over 30 years and specialises in commercial litigation. She is supervised by Peter Hastings, Director and Head of Commercial Litigation.
Background, Qualifications and Areas of Practice and Expertise
I joined Rogers & Norton Solicitors in 1991 as a Secretary in the Defendant Litigation Department. I moved to the Personal Injury and Legal Expenses team as a Fee Earner in 1995.
I was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2001 and now specialise in all aspects of debt recovery, insolvency, consumer credit claims and HMRC Border Force cases, having joined the firm’s Litigation team in 2014.
I very much enjoy the varied content of the work involved; no two files are the same. I like having the ability to help people recover their debts and solve their legal problems.
