On Tuesday 3rd September, Laura Rumsey, Solicitor and Head of the Wills, Trusts, and Probate Team at Rogers & Norton, provided invaluable advice to families who rely on Oakland Short Breaks, a vital short breaks service in Norfolk. Oakland Short Breaks supports young adults with learning difficulties who still live at home, offering their families much-needed respite and ensuring that the individuals in their care receive the support they need in a safe environment.
Laura’s talk specifically focused on issues surrounding adults who lack mental capacity and the challenges that may arise for them and their families. Laura covered a range of topics, beginning with the importance of Wills. For families caring for individuals who cannot manage their finances, carefully considering their own Wills is essential.
