LPA Campaign Raises Over £3,000 for Priscilla Bacon Hospice and Sees Record Client Uptake
We’re proud to report that our 2025 Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) campaign generated a record level of engagement across Norfolk, with over 60 client appointments. As a result, we are set to donate £3,200 to the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity – more than doubling the total raised in 2024.
This year’s campaign ran from 3rd February to 25th April and offered clients a 20% discount on LPA fees, with a £50 donation pledged to the charity for every LPA appointment made.
The initiative coincided with the opening of our new Dereham office, which enabled us to extend the campaign to a wider area. Together with our existing offices in Norwich and Attleborough, we reached more clients than ever before.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the response,” said Laura Rumsey, Head of Wills, Trusts and Probate. “Helping clients plan for the future is at the heart of what we do. To combine that with real support for such a vital local cause makes this campaign particularly special.”
The donation will support the work of Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity and the recently opened Priscilla Bacon Lodge, a purpose-built palliative and end of life care facility next to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. The Lodge provides inpatient care, day services, a wellbeing centre and community outreach, and the Charity is developing new services to help patients and loved ones make the most of their time together.

Donations, fundraising, collaboration with the business community, and voluntary support are essential for enabling us to deliver and expand vital services, including bereavement counselling, complementary therapies, catering, and the enhancement of our serene gardens.
Looking ahead, our next initiative is the creation of a Men’s Shed in the grounds of Priscilla Bacon Lodge. This will offer a supportive and engaging environment for those living with a terminal condition, patients in their final days, friends and family both before and after death, and for activities engaging the wider community. With the continued support of partners like Rogers & Norton, the Charity will be able to further enrich the care for patients and their loved ones at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.”
