Rogers & Norton advises on the sale of leading East Anglian theme park Pleasurewood Hills
Rogers & Norton’s Corporate and Commercial team recently advised on the acquisition of Pleasurewood Hills, one of East Anglia’s best-known family attractions. The purchase marks an exciting new chapter for the park and strengthens our growing reputation for advising clients within the Leisure and Entertainment sector, particularly the attractions industry.
The park has been purchased by Freddy Stokes and his two brothers Spencer and Davis at Premier Attractions Ltd. Freddy is a Northeast–born and Yorkshire-based showman with a long family history in the leisure and fairground industry. Mr Stokes brings a wealth of experience in live entertainment and visitor attractions and plans to build on Pleasurewood Hills’ strong foundations to develop its offering for future generations.
Pleasurewood Hills, based near Lowestoft, has been a much-loved destination for over 40 years. The new ownership team plans to invest further in the theme park and expand its offering to enhance the visitor experience and drive regional tourism growth.
The deal was led by Matthew Evans, Corporate and Commercial Solicitor, with oversight from Alistair Ponder, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Rogers & Norton.
