Rogers & Norton announces new shareholders and strengthens leadership team
Rogers & Norton Solicitors is pleased to announce several key developments across the company, including the appointment of new shareholders and continued investment in leadership across our teams.
We are delighted to confirm that a number of Directors have recently become shareholders of Rogers & Norton. Their appointments mark an important milestone for the company and reflect their significant contribution to its growth and success in recent years.
Notably, Laura Rumsey and Michele Walters are the first female shareholders in the company’s history, representing a proud and progressive step forward as we continue to strengthen diversity within our leadership team. These appointments reinforce our commitment to long-term stability and support the continued delivery of high-quality legal services across both our private and commercial client base.
Director and Shareholder Laura Rumsey said: “It is a real privilege to be part of this next stage in the company’s journey. We have a strong leadership team in place and a clear focus on delivering the highest level of service to our clients. These developments reflect the hard work and dedication of colleagues across the firm, and I am excited about what lies ahead.”
We are delighted to welcome Ryan Bigland as Senior Solicitor and Head of Commercial Property. Ryan brings a strong background in commercial property matters and a clear focus on delivering a responsive, commercially minded service to clients.
His appointment as Head of Department marks an exciting new chapter for the Commercial Property team, as former Head of Department Bruce Faulkner begins to transition towards retirement. Ryan brings a clear focus on speed, clarity and staying one step ahead, combining strong commercial awareness with a responsive, client-focused approach. Ryan works closely with colleagues across our corporate, litigation and employment teams, as well as our sector specialists, to deliver a joined-up and practical service.
As part of our continued focus on strengthening leadership and governance, we have also appointed Ben Goode as a Non-Executive Director. Ben brings significant senior leadership experience, having held director and chief executive roles within a well-established regional business. He will provide strategic oversight and support to the firm’s leadership team, helping to guide long-term decision-making, operational performance and continued growth.
Shareholder and Director Peter Hastings said: “These developments reflect the continued evolution of our leadership team and the strength of talent across all of our legal departments. It’s particularly pleasing to see colleagues progress into shareholder roles, and to welcome fresh leadership into key areas of the business.
As we progress through 2026, we are well positioned to support our clients across all areas of personal and commercial law. We congratulate everyone on their achievements and look forward to the continued contribution of our leadership team.”
With offices in Dereham and Attleborough, alongside its Norwich headquarters, Rogers & Norton continues to strengthen its presence across Norfolk while also supporting a growing client base in London. The company is increasingly working with national and international clients, expanding its reach and delivering trusted legal services across borders.
